From the 20 nominations, Paul and Stuart were recognised as the winners for March and April respectively.

In particular, Paul was recognised for his genuine care about people in the Hastwell tribe over operational challenges, while Stuart was mostly recognised for his dedication to the team and jumping into whatever is needed whether part of his role or not.

Well done guys and thank you for your outstanding contributions.

What you may not know is that our customers are always the center of everything we do. Our team all have a genuine passion for empowering our customers and when our customers need us, we are always there. Here is a great example. During one of those lunches, one of our customers needed us and our wonderful team were quick to collaborate and provide a fast resolution when the customers’ need arose. This is what great work at Hastwell looks like and a somewhat regular demonstration of how important our valued customers are to us.

Thank you to those wonderful customers who continue to support us and to the dedicated Hastwell family who always put the customer first.

Tim was recognised by his peers for stepping out of his role and into anything required as well as awesome leadership of the team while James was recognised for jumping into issues and resolving them no matter the technical challenge.

Kosta was recognised by his peers for his love of the customer and outstanding work on a Meraki/Sophos implementation.

Marks peers nominated him for his consistent high-quality work and flexibility, particularly jumping in to resolve critical issues.

The CRN Fast50 is in its 13th year and recognises the fastest-growing IT companies in Australia based on year-on-year revenue growth.

Hastwell achieved a 74 per cent revenue increase in the 2020 – 2021 financial year lifting our annual return to $7.3 million dollars.

Making this year’s CRN Fast50 list is a huge honour and testament to the Hastwell team’s fierce commitment to growth in a year filled with challenges because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout it all, Hastwell remained focused on delivering a superior customer experience as we managed all the complexities the pandemic caused our team and our customers. A range of factors contributed to our rapid revenue growth including the shift to remote working at the start of 2020.

Companies needed to be work from home ready and Hastwell was there from the start helping our customers, and their employees, adjust to the constantly changing landscape so they could work remotely in a secure and flexible environment. Our efforts to build long-term relationships with our current clients has been instrumental to growth along with our proactive approach to attracting new customers – we are local, small and agile and that’s why clients love working with us. Hastwell’s expansion has also been driven by our expertise in deploying modern technologies – we were the first company in Australia and New Zealand to implement Palo Alto Network’s Secure Access Service Edge architecture which combines networking with cloud delivered security services.

Hastwell attracts and retains high performing sales and technical talent by offering flexibility, encouraging work-life balance and providing opportunities for team members to do interesting work. Hastwell also promotes our great culture by supporting employee benefits such as Friday barbecue lunches and quarterly celebrations.

We are predicting another year of growth ahead for Hastwell and expect many of the relationships we’ve focused on, and the technologies we’ve brought to the Australian market, will continue to provide a return on investment from the previous year. This is assisted by Hastwell’s recent expansion of capability into emerging Microsoft skillsets such as Azure, Intune, Teams & Windows 11 deployments.
